In the second digital chapter of this anthology, Vixen is waking up in the camp. Almost half of the issue is her dream which included Vandal Savage, Anansi, Gilgamesh and new character Oya. Then she is flying to Kenya and side-by-side with Impala fighting gods known as Nyame.
During the short flying sequence I've
realised that the artistic side is more and more the thing which is pressing me
not to stop reading. ChrisCross´s people are very plastic and detailed, with a
lot of emotions in face. Very interesting are also monsters and gods, with this
amount of details.
Geoffrey Thorne is still writing only dialogues, characterisation of main heroes is really weak, you don't know why you have been interested in Impala´s and even Vixen´s fate. I'm just hoping that he will write Green Lantern at another level.
I'm curious how the story will end after cliffhanger, even ifThorne is definitely not one of my favorite new authors. But I want to read more comics with ChrisCross´s art.
